Kingsley, 44, was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer as well as to the company's Board of Directors in March 2005, having served as Chief Operating Officer since 2004. In April 2006, he was named Chairman of the Board. Prior to joining IDEX, he progressed through a series of increasingly responsible operating positions at Danaher Corporation, including corporate vice president, and group executive for the combined industrial controls and sensors businesses; president of the Industrial Controls group; and president, motion group special purpose systems. Kingsley is a member of the Board of Directors for Cooper Industries.
On February 20, 2008, the Board of Directors appointed Mr. Cook as a director of the Company effective April 8, 2008. He has been Chairman since August 2005, and President and Chief Executive Officer since August 2004, of Donaldson Company, Incorporated. Mr. Cook served as Senior Vice President, International and Chief Financial Officer, Donaldson Company, Incorporated, from prior to 2003 to August 2004. Mr. Cook is a director of Donaldson Company, Incorporated. Mr. Cook will become a member of the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors on April 8, 2008.

Bell, 51, has been a director since June 2001 and is chairman of the Audit Committee. He is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Nalco Company, the leading global provider of integrated water treatment and process improvement services, chemicals, and equipment programs for industrial and institutional applications. He served previously as Senior Vice President and CFO of Rohm and Haas Company (1997-2003), and as Vice President and Treasurer of Whirlpool Corporation (1987-1997). Mr. Bell is also a director of Compass Minerals Group. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration.

Chandy, 47, joined the IDEX board in April 2006. She is vice president, chief marketing officer at Rohm and Haas Company since 2007. Previously, she was vice president, marketing and commercial excellence, at Thermo Fisher from 2005-2007. From 2002 to 2004, she served as president, Bioscience Technologies Division and, from 2001 to 2002, as president, Process Instruments Division at Thermo Fisher. Prior to Thermo Fisher, Chandy was president, Microvasive Urology Division, at Boston Scientific Corporation. From 1992 through 1999, she served in a series of increasingly responsible marketing, and general management roles at Millipore Corporation.
Hermance, 55, was named a director of IDEX effective in January 2004. He currently serves as chairman of the board and chief executive officer at AMETEK, Inc., a leading manufacturer of electronic instruments and electric motors. Before joining AMETEK in 1990, Hermance was general manager of Tektronix's Waveform Measurement division. He also served as senior vice president of operations for Combustion Engineering's Taylor Instrument Company, a producer of process control instrumentation.
On February 20, 2008, the Board of Directors appointed Mr. Milzcik as a director of the Company, effective April 8, 2008. He has beeb President and Chief Executive Officer of Barnes Group Inc. since October 2006. In 2006, prior to his appointment as President, Mr. Milzcik served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Barnes Group Inc. He served as President, Associated Spring Group, Barnes Group Inc., from 2004 to 2006, and President, Barnes Aerospace, Barnes Group Inc., from 2003 until 2004. Mr. Milzcik is a director of Barnes Group Inc. Mr. Milzcik will become a member of the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors on April 8, 2008.
Springer, 66, has been an IDEX director since February 1990. He chairs the Nominating and Governance Committee and is a member of the Audit and Executive committees. Springer has been managing director of the investment firm Springer & Associates since 1996. He also serves on the boards of CUNA Mutual Insurance Group, U.S. Freightways Corporation, and Walter Industries, Inc.
Tokarz, 54, has served on IDEX's board since the company was founded in September 1987. He is a member of the Executive and Compensation committees. Tokarz has been a member of The Tokarz Group, an investment firm, since 2002. For the six years prior to this, Tokarz was a member of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.L.C., a limited liability company that acts as the general partner of investment firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P., and a general partner of KKR Associates L.P. He also sits on the boards of Evenflo Company, Inc.; Kamaz A.O.; Spalding Holdings Corporation; and Walter Industries, Inc.
